The Feed-Thru Starter Kit is designed to provide you with our recommended tools and plugs to cut, strip, and terminate IDEAL’s Feed-Thru modular plugs onto twisted pair cables.

Feed-Thru modular plugs offer several advantages over standard modular RJ-45 plugs such as:

• Verify conductor order prior to trimming
• No exact trim length requirement
• Pair twists pulled near pins minimize excessive untwisting for better termination
• Jacket consistently secured under strain relief for a more secure termination

Ideal for electricians and datacom installers.

Applications: CAT5e|CAT6 twisted pair cable preparation and crimp termination for Feed-Thru Modular Plugs.

Kit Includes:

• 0-495 FT-45™ Crimp Tool features a compact design that trims wire flush with connector end and works for CAT5e, CAT6, and CAT6A RJ-45 feed-thru, standard, and shielded modular plugs.
• 45-605 PrepPRO® Cable Stripper uses a fixed blade that requires no adjustment while stripping UTP/STP CAT 5e, CAT6, and CAT6A twisted pair cable with a replaceable blue cartridge. You can also strip RG59, RJ59 Plenum, RJ6, RJ6 Plenum, RG-6 Quad, and RG-6 Quad Plenum coaxial cables with a replaceable grey cartridge.
