The connector is nylon insulated and used to connect 2 or 3 wires. It is self stripping and moisture resistant.

3M™ Scotchlok™ Insulation Displacement Connector 316IR is 600V rated for building wire. It withstands temperatures of 221 degrees F (105 degrees C). UL Listed and RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.
