The PACE 6993-0296-P1 is a special edition of the TD-100 soldering iron for the WJS 100 soldering system and the 1128 tip series. The most ergonomic, powerful, easy to use and inexpensive soldering iron. The TD-100 uses a patented PACE heating element that can be replaced within seconds and heats up tips within 10 seconds of turning on the tool. The tool's performance and feedback are ideal for the most demanding lead-free or multi-layer soldering applications, however, it can also handle the thinnest flexible items. Includes an energy-saving PACE ISB Cubby stand that helps extend the life of the tips. When the instrument is inserted into the cradle, it sends a signal to the station to reduce the temperature of the tip. When the operator takes the soldering iron from the stand, it instantly warms up to operating temperature.
